CHARLESTON -- The September Business for Breakfast is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25, at the Charleston Marriott Town Center.
SCORE, the SBA and the State Journal are the sponsors of the hourlong event, which starts at 7:30 a.m. in the Gauley Room at the Whitewater Grille.
This month's topic is "How to Monitor and Control Your Cash Flow," and features CPA John Blackwell.
Blackwell will help attendees understand how to manage cash flow by helping to use the things already at one's disposal to BETTER manage cash flow. As a sole-practitioner CPA, Blackwell sees all types of businesses, but still must track and manage his seasonal cash flows, while instilling in his clients the importance of evaluating your cash flow ebb and flows on a constant, ongoing basis.
This will be a discussion on the basic things that all businesses have available but sometimes fail to consider their importance in keeping businesses moving forward.
