HUNTINGTON -- Huddleston Bolen's corporate wellness program is teaming with Huntington's "Jamie's Kitchen" to offer a Fresh Lunch Cooking program for employees.
In the program, 35 Huddleston Bolen employees will take a 10-week cooking and food education course. During the one-hour lunch sessions, employees will learn how to prepare fast, fresh, healthy meals; enjoy the "fruits of their labor" for lunch; and take home recipes and any leftovers. There is no charge for this or any other program offered through Jamie's Kitchen.

"These lunchtime classes are a great way for our lawyers and staff to learn how to prepare fresh meals fast. Doing so will inevitably lead to better physical health and improved personal relationships with their families. Jamie's Kitchen is a new information center and gathering place in Huntington created as part of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver's new health initiative in the area.
The goal of Jamie's Kitchen is to provide simple, straightforward information to everyone in the community on how to plan and prepare easy, healthy meals in their own home.
Jamie's Kitchen is currently funded by the company producing the upcoming Jamie Oliver television show, set in Huntington. Once filming is complete, the Kitchen will remain in the community as a resource for residents and community groups.
