PERSONNEL FILE: Streyle, Winnell are new members at Bailey & Wyant

CHARLESTON -- Bailey & Wyant is proud to announce that Billie Jo Streyle and Jason Alan Winnell are the two newest Members in its Charleston office.

Streyle is the firm's first female Member. She represents private clients, state agencies and its officials, and political subdivisions and its officials in an array of claims, with a particular emphasis, on employment related matters. She has also provided lectures to both clients and non-clients and written articles regarding employment issues affecting organizations and its employees.

She graduated from Waynesburg College summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in accounting, and a minor in business management. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Duquense University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2002.

She previously served as the Director of Personnel for the State of West Virginia appointed by Gov. Joe Manchin. She also served on the Unemployment Compensation Solutions Task Force as the employment lawyer appointed by Manchin.

Streyle has a three year-old daughter that she spends time with during her free time. She also engages in community service activities with the YWCA Shanklin Center, which provides housing to elderly, homeless women, and with West Virginia Junior Achievement to provide classroom teaching to students through grades K-12 regarding business and economics.

Winnell has been an attorney with the firm since 2003. While in law school, he worked with the firm as a law clerk in 2002. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from West Virginia University in 1999, and his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2003.

His practice entails insurance coverage disputes, personal injury defense, governmental liability, and general civil litigation. In addition to providing legal services, Winnell also serves as the firm's Marketing Director and coordinates the firm's efforts related to information technology.

He has presented lectures on a variety of topics, including insurance coverage and employment law. Winnell is married to Sang Ah Koh, who is also an attorney in the firm's Charleston office.
