PERSONNEL FILE: Acacia Environmental Group promotes Shanteau

CHARLESTON -– Rachel Shanteau was promoted to Senior Environmental Consultant of Acacia Environmental Group LLC (AEG), effective Jan. 1.

Since its founding in 2002, AEG has supported the environmental compliance efforts of many clients, including manufacturers, energy companies, railroads, real estate developers, a wide variety of commercial entities and a few governmental agencies.

Rick Wilson, President of AEG, said, "Rachel began work with AEG in June 2008, and during that time, has demonstrated outstanding technical and interpersonal abilities and has become an important resource in supporting AEG's clients."

During her environmental career, Shanteau managed multiple natural gas pipeline permitting projects, provided significant litigation technical support, written over 200 Spill Prevention, Countermeasure and Control plans, performed multiple Environmental Site Assessments and managed numerous Environmental Remediation projects for the West Virginia Department of Transportation. Shanteau is a native of Port Clinton, Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors Degree in geology.

AEG is a subsidiary of Jackson Kelly Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jackson Kelly.
