PERSONNNEL FILE: Long named to Leadership West Virginia

MORGANTOWN -– Jason Long, a partner in the Morgantown office of Dinsmore & Shohl, was recently selected to Leadership West Virginia's Class of 2010.

A total of 46 leaders from across the state, including seven from the Morgantown area, will participate in the 20th class of Leadership West Virginia.

Long is the Co-Chair of the firm's Education Law Practice Group and a member of the firm's Litigation Department. Jason's practice concentrates on enforcing the collection rights and security interests of creditors as well as the representation of numerous county board of educations in the firm's Education Law Practice Group. He has been recognized by his peers for numerous awards including being selected for the West Virginia Rising Stars List and being named a "Future Star" in Benchmark Litigation. Long earned his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law and his B.A. from Marshall University.

Leadership West Virginia is a statewide education and leadership development program affiliated with the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce. The eight-month program identifies emerging leaders throughout West Virginia and enhances their knowledge not only of the challenges facing the state, but also the state's unique attributes and diversity.
