MORGANTOWN -– Jason Long and David Thomas, partners in the Morgantown office of Dinsmore & Shohl, have been honored as recipients of the 2010 Generation Next: 40 Under 40 award.
The award program recognizes those successful West Virginians who are younger than 40 and playing critical roles in their communities across West Virginia.
Long serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Education Law Practice Group and a member of the firm's Litigation Department. He concentrates his practice on enforcing the collection rights and security interests of creditors as well as the representation of numerous county board of educations in the firm's Education Law Practice Group.
Long has been recognized by his peers for numerous awards including being selected for the West Virginia Rising Stars List and being named a "Future Star" in Benchmark Litigation. He earned his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law and his B.A. from Marshall University.
Thomas is a partner in the Business Restructuring and Reorganization Practice Group and a member of the firm's Litigation Department. His practice focuses on banking law, bankruptcy, commercial transactions and commercial litigation. He assists corporate clients and financial institutions in a variety of commercial matters including loan structuring, workouts, collections, bankruptcy, and regulatory compliance.
Thomas has been recognized by his peers for numerous awards including being listed in The Best Lawyers in America and selected for the West Virginia Rising Stars List. He earned his J.D. and B.S. from West Virginia University.
