* On Sept. 3, 2009, Smith learned a tentative settlement was reached in a civil action before the court and submitted a Freedom of Information Act to the defendant by e-mail and certified U.S. mail. Smith claims the defendant would not release the terms of the settlement. He is seeking for the court to grant injunctive relief, enjoining the defendant from withholding records and declare the defendant's refusal to disclose records unlawful.

She claims she has experienced significant mental and physical pain and suffering; has sustained permanent injury; permanent and substantial physical deformity; loss of a bodily organ system; and has undergone corrective surgeries as a result of the products. Jeffreys is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
