CHARLESTON -- The U.S. Small Business Administration and SCORE will host the webinar Deductible Business Expenses featuring Larry Ickes, CPA, at noon on June 15.

Registration can be made online at www.wvscore.org. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.

"Business expenses are the cost of carrying on a trade or business and many are deductible on your business tax returns," Ickes said. "We'll look at the most common business deductions and explain when and how those deductions can be used."

For more than 20 years, Ickes has been a practicing certified public accountant, operating his own private practice in downtown Lewisburg since 1994. He graduated cum laude from Concord College and earned his CPA designation in 1985, as well as his Certified Financial Planner status in 1988. A long time Greenbrier Valley resident, Ickes is also a volunteer business consultant with the Greenbrier Valley chapter of SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Business.
