CHARLESTON -– The 2010 Annual Law Enforcement and Victim Assistance Awards presentation and reception were presented Oct. 6 at the University of Charleston Rotunda.

Each year, the U.S. Attorney's Office seeks nominations acknowledging exemplary service of federal, state and local law enforcement officers and others working in the criminal justice arena who have contributed a substantial amount of time and effort to sponsoring, developing and maintaining cooperation among various law enforcement agencies and organizations.

In the victim advocacy field, nominations are sought recognizing exemplary efforts of individuals and organizations whose vision, action and leadership have made significant contributions to the crime victims field.
