HUNTINGTON -- Huddleston Bolen is pleased to welcome three new associates to the firm.
Kelly Crouse is joining the firm's Louisville, Ky., office, Todd Bergstrom is joining the firm's Charleston office, and Jack Wise is joining the firm's Huntington office.
Crouse joined the firm's litigation department after completing two years in the firm's summer clerk program. Her work is concentrated in civil rights employment law, transportation and railroad litigation. Crouse is a native of Prestonsburg, Ky. She attended Eastern Kentucky University on full scholarship, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Psychology in May 2003.
Crouse obtained her Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2010 from the University of Louisville, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, graduating cum laude. While she was in law school, Crouse was a member of the University of Louisville Law Review where she authored an article entitled "An Unreasonable Scope: The Need for Clarity in Federal Rule 30(b)(6) Depositions," which is to be published in Volume 49, Issue One of the University of Louisville Law Review.
Bergstrom participated in the firm's summer clerk program for two years before joining Huddleston Bolen. Bergstrom graduated Order of the Coif, ranked 3rd in his class at the West Virginia University College of Law. While in law school, he was also Executive Editor of the West Virginia Law Review, responsible for selecting articles for publication and coordinating the annual Law Review Symposium.
Prior to law school, he was sports editor for The Record Delta in Buckhannon, W.Va., and an environmental specialist at Ryan Environmental in Bridgeport. Bergstrom graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Arts with degrees in Environmental Studies and Psychology.
Wise joined Huddleston Bolen after spending the previous summer in the firm's clerk program. His work is focused in commercial and transportation litigation and immigration. A native of Florida, Wise received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Florida State University. While there, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Affairs, graduating magna cum laude in 2004; a Masters of Arts degree in International Affairs, graduating with honors in 2006; and a Graduate Certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies in 2006.
Wise was also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. In 2010, Wise received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. While clerking with Huddleston Bolen, Wise co-authored an article that appeared in the summer 2009 edition of the West Virginia Human Resources Journal.
