Hood
HUNTINGTON -– Taylor Hood has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough as an associate in its West Virginia office.
Hood focuses his practice on commercial litigation, mass torts, and class actions. He also has a background and experience in the area of taxation and business entities.
Prior to joining Nelson Mullins, Hood worked as an associate at a public accounting firm in West Virginia for two years. During that time, he received his license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in West Virginia.
In 2010, Hood earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. He served as both a Law Review staff member and a Law Review Note Editor. His Law Review article is published as Fair-Value Accounting: Maintain, Reform, or Eradicate, 38 Cap. U. Law Rev. 857 (2010).
Hood was a CALI Award recipient in both Real Estate Taxation and Legal Research and Writing.
In 2004, he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Marshall University.
