CHARLESTON -- Thomas A. Heywood, managing partner of Bowles Rice, has announced that three attorneys have joined the law firm as associates.
John C. Hudson, Stephen W. Kiefer and Travis B. Righter join an experienced roster of Bowles Rice lawyers and are practicing in the areas of Litigation, Energy Law, Construction Law and Tax Law.
Hudson has joined the Bowles Rice office in Parkersburg, where he will focus his practice in the areas of Real Estate Law, Energy Law and Construction Law. He is a 2010 graduate of the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Ala., where he served as the president of the American Constitutional Society. He earned his undergraduate degree in international political economy in 2005 from Fordham University.
Kiefer has joined the firm's Litigation Department in the Charleston office, where he will focus in the area of Mass and Toxic Torts. He received his law degree in 2010 from the William & Mary School of Law in Williamsburg, Va. He earned his bachelor's degree in history, magna cum laude, from Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pa., in 2007.
Righter has joined the Tax Law group in the Bowles Rice Parkersburg office. He is a 2010 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law and the West Virginia University College of Business and Economics, earning both a law degree and an executive MBA. He received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, in accounting, from Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio, in 2007 and was honored as the West Virginia Society of CPAs Outstanding Accounting Senior.
