CHARLESTON -- Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso is pleased to announce that Alaina N. Crislip, Kurt E. Entsminger, Shawn C. Gillispie and Frances M. Rollins have been elected members.
Crislip focuses her practice in the area of health care regulation and litigation, with a particular emphasis on compliance advice to providers on Stark and anti-kickback laws and privacy laws. In addition, she has dealt with physician contracts, physician credentialing and licensure, physician organizations, certificates of need and health insurance regulation matters.
Crislip received her B.A., graduating Cum Laude, in Health & Society from The University of Rochester in 1998. In 2000 Crislip earned her M.P.H. from Boston University School of Public Health and went on to earn her J.D. from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2003.
Entsminger focuses his practice on employment law matters and the defense of deliberate intent cases representing corporate employers. Entsminger is a seasoned trial lawyer with over 18 years of experience representing clients in a wide variety of personal injury, commercial, and other lawsuits.
Prior to joining Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso, Entsminger devoted 10 years to serving as in-house counsel and as chief executive for two national non-profit organizations located outside of Washington D.C. Entsminger also served for 3 years as Chief of the Civil Division for the United States Attorney's Office in Charleston.
Entsminger received his legal education from West Virginia University School of Law where he graduated first in his law class in 1980.
Gillispie's practice emphasizes civil litigation in the areas of workplace liability, deliberate intent and general litigation.
Gillispie received his B.A. in Criminal Justice from Marshall University and later earned his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
Rollins focuses her practice on asbestos litigation defense.
Rollins has 25 years of litigation experience in insurance defense, bankruptcy, commercial and criminal matters, including numerous appearances before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Rollins received her B.A. from Newcomb College of Tulane University and is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law.
