BRIDGEPORT -- Steptoe & Johnson welcomes Robert J. Andre III, of counsel, to the firm.
Andre joins the firm's energy team, concentrating in the areas of oil and gas law.
A graduate of Potomac State University (A.A.), West Virginia University (B.A.), and the West Virginia University College of Law, Andre's experience includes managing operations and providing legal analysis related to oil and gas, and title and property holding in West Virginia and Central Pennsylvania.
In addition, Andre directed, supervised and assisted in analysis of company leaseholds relating to legal issues, contracts, estate matters and business risk; and contracts, as well as deeds for conventional coal bed methane and horizontal drilling operations in the Marcellus shale and Appalachian Basin for Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to joining Steptoe & Johnson, Andre served as Title Supervisor for West Virginia and Central Pennsylvania Gas Operations with Consol Land Resources, as well as Staff Landman with Dominion Exploration and Production, Inc.
