PERSONNEL FILE: Spilman expands Pittsburgh office

PITTSBURGH — The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle has announced that Samuel I. Yamron joined the Pittsburgh office as an associate. His primary area of practice is patent law and related intellectual property fields.

Yamron has experience in virtually all areas of patent law, including preparation and prosecution of patents, developing patent validity and infringement opinions, and enforcing patent rights. He regularly assists clients with auditing intellectual property assets and aligning their intellectual property strategies with their overall business strategies. He also has vast experience preparing patent applications and responses to communications received from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Yamron received a B.S. in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005 and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law in 2008. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Yamron is a member of the Pittsburgh Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Hispanic Attorneys Committee of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
