CHARLESTON -- The West Virginia State Law Library will hold a free informational workshop on bicycle safety at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 30.
Bruce Wilson will discuss laws of the road in West Virginia, types of bicycle equipment, lamps and reflectors, and requirements for helmets for children and adults, as well as common sense safety strategies.
Local organizations that promote bicycle riding and safety will also be discussed.
The State Law Library is located on the fourth floor of the East Wing of the state Capitol, Room E-404. Metered parking is available on California Avenue, behind the Culture Center and near the Piedmont Road parking garage. Parking is free on Saturdays.
