"Philanthropy continues to be a paramount interest to our firm," began Sherri S. Whalen, Pro Bono Coordinator for Steptoe & Johnson. "Our legal teams are enthusiastic in their service to the society in which we live, and we see it as our duty to work diligently to improve lives. Once again, we are honored to receive this award, and we look forward to continuing our work in the community," Whalen said.
The "Kaufman Pro Bono Award" was presented during the annual meeting of the West Virginia State Bar.
