CHARLESTON -– H.F. Salsbery, member-in-charge of the Charleston office of Frost Brown Todd, was selected for inclusion in the 2011 edition of West Virginia Super Lawyers.
Salsbery was recognized in the edition specifically in the area of business litigation. According to Super Lawyers, the attorneys chosen for the Super Lawyers list have attained a high degree of peer recognition, as well as professional achievement.
Salsbery's legal practice includes trials and appeals in all courts. He has tried cases in criminal matters involving RICO, CCE, murder, embezzlement, various conspiracies and other matters as a federal prosecutor, as well as the defense side. On the civil side, he has tried cases ranging from products liability to medical malpractice to commercial litigation with an emphasis on coal related matters.
Salsbery has handled coal cases involving almost every aspect of the industry. Other than coal, Salsbery's commercial experience also includes construction litigation involving performance and payment bonds.
Currently, Salsbery serves as National Trial Counsel for manufacturing defendants in mass torts involving welding rods and isocyanate exposure. He also serves as National Trial Counsel for a number of entities in the Chinese drywall litigation.
Salsbery has tried more than 150 civil and criminal cases and is a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is to be a fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America.
He is also included in the 2010-2011 editions of Best Lawyers in America.
