WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle has announced that Erin Jones Adams and R. Scott Adams were recently elected to the Executive Committee of the Forsyth County Bar Association Young Lawyers Association.
Jones Adams was elected president while Adams was elected vice president. Each will serve a two-year term in their respective positions.
Jones Adams' primary area of practice is commercial litigation, concentrating in the areas of consumer finance, labor and employment, and health care. She received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Salem College in 2004 and her J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 2007. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina and the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
Adams' primary area of practice is consumer finance litigation. He also works in the areas of general civil litigation, labor and employment, workers' compensation, complex commercial litigation, and corporate/shareholder disputes. He received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Colgate University in 2003 and his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 2007. Adams is admitted to practice in North Carolina.
