MARTINSBURG -- Walter M. Jones III, Managing Shareholder of the West Virginia law firm of Martin & Seibert has recently been selected to speak at the 12th National Forum on Consumer Finance Class Actions & Litigation at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Fla.
According to the forum's host, the American Conference Institute, "as ground-breaking regulation comes into play and changes the consumer finance industry, leaders in the field will convene to share insight that will prepare [litigators] to overcome these new obstacles."
Jones is presenting on two issues: the first, "Effective Strategies for Preparing Expert and Company Witnesses for Depositions and Trial," will take place at 3 p.m. on Oct. 26. The second, "Identifying and Avoiding Trouble Spots in Debt Collection, Credit Reporting and Defending Against FDCPA, TCPA, FACTA and FCRA Claims," will be at 10:20 a.m. on Oct. 28. Jones' are two of several workshops hosted by "some of the most successful lawyers in the country," according to ACI.
