CHARLESTON -- Robinson & McElwee has opened a new office in Wheeling.
The office is located in Elm Grove at 2108 Lumber Ave., Suite 4. This northern Panhandle location initially will be staffed by Lisa M. Schmitt and Karl T. Skrypak.
Schmitt, a Wheeling native, will focus her practice on real estate law and commercial transactions as well as oil and gas title certifications. She is licensed to practice in West Virginia and Ohio.
Skrypak will focus on coal, oil and gas, real estate and health care matters. He is currently licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
"All the pieces quickly fell into place once we identified Lisa and Karl," managing member Kent J. George said of the expansion into the northern Panhandle. "With them, we've found the perfect combination of experience and high energy that will allow us to satisfy the growing client demands of that area. By establishing this physical presence in the northern Panhandle, we can better advise and interact with our clients, particularly those in the natural resources market."
Robinson & McElwee's 40 attorneys work from offices in Charleston, Wheeling and Clarksburg.
