Hudkins
BRIDGEPORT -- The National Association of Lease and Title Analysts (NALTA) recently honored Steptoe & Johnson and attorney Marsha Hudkins for their commitment to advancing the organization and careers of lease and title professionals.
Hudkins received the 2011 Special Recognition Award, and Steptoe & Johnson received the Corporate Award during NALTA's annual meeting.
Hudkins, an attorney in the firm's Bridgeport office, received the Special Recognition Award for her commitment to furthering the mission of NALTA through her leadership of the Greater Appalachian Basin Lease & Title Analysts, NALTA's Appalachian regional chapter, and her service on the NALTA Board of Directors.
The award is reserved for members who have achieved exemplary performance with their committees, have made strides as innovators, and taken their committee's performance to new heights. This award is not given annually; it is only given when the Board of Directors deems it appropriate.
The Corporate Award presented to Steptoe & Johnson is given to companies that offer continual support to NALTA and their regional chapters with funds and personnel. Recipients actively encourage their employees to become involved with NALTA chapters by allowing them to serve in leadership positions as part of their careers.
Like the Special Recognition Award, this honor is only given when the Board of Directors believes there is a deserving recipient.
