Case
MORGANTOWN -- Harrison Case has joined the law firm of Allan N. Karlin & Associates in Morgantown, following a two-year clerkship with Judge Irene M. Keeley of the United States District Court in Clarksburg.
The law firm, which has been recognized as a Best Law Firm (Tier One-Employment Law) by U.S. News and Best Lawyers, represents employees harmed by discrimination, wrongful discharge and sexual harassment, persons injured by the negligence of others and victims in civil rights cases.
Case is a 2009 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, where he graduated with honors as a member of the Order of the Coif. He served as Executive Editor of the West Virginia Law Review and as president of the Environmental Law Society. Case received his Regents Bachelor of Arts degree from WVU's Eberly College of Arts and Sciences in 2005, graduating cum laude.
Prior to law school, Case served as outreach coordinator for the West Virginia Wilderness Coalition, a public lands preservation organization that successfully secured Congressional protection of
wild lands in the Monongahela National Forest. He also held the position of volunteer and outreach coordinator for Caritas House, an HIV/AIDS service organization in Morgantown.
Case is a former speechwriter and legislative correspondent for former West Virginia Gov. Bob Wise. A native of Morgantown, he is married to the former Alyson Riggs of Fairmont, and is father and soccer coach to Miles, 8, and Eli, 4. He serves on the boards of directors for the Monongalia Youth Soccer Association and the Appalachian Prison Book Project.
