CHARLESTON -- Veteran natural gas lawyer R.P. "Bucky" Duranti Jr. has joined Lewis Glasser Casey & Rollins as a member in the law firm's new north-central West Virginia office in the Morgantown area.
Angela C. Ramsey, also a natural gas lawyer, has joined the firm as an associate.
Duranti and Ramsey will bolster Lewis Glasser's capabilities to meet continued growth from clients involved in natural gas drilling and production activities, said Nick Casey, managing member of the firm.
Duranti has enjoyed a long-standing law practice in the Appalachian Basin. He will be based in the firm's new office along with two other LGCR lawyers – Bernie Worley and Nathan Austrian – and a growing support staff. The north-central office is expected to expand significantly over the coming year, Casey said.
Mark Sadd, a member in the firm's Charleston office, will continue to oversee the firm's mineral title and affiliated practices serving the region's growing energy sector.
"Bucky Duranti and Angela Ramsey's joining our new Morgantown office is part of Lewis Glasser's strategy to expand its capabilities to meet the needs of existing clients and our growing list of clients with interests in north-central West Virginia," Casey said.
Lewis Glasser has an extensive background representing natural gas producers, pipelines and other energy businesses in regulatory, litigation, commercial and real estate matters.
