Davis
CHARLESTON -– The Professional Fire Fighters of West Virginia have voted unanimously to endorse the re-election effort of Justice Robin Davis to the West Virginia Supreme Court.
"The PFFWV is proud to once again endorse Justice Davis in her re-election campaign," PFFWV President Brian Jones said. "Her reputation for fairness, hard work and protecting families are core values that we share with Justice Davis."
"I am proud that this fine organization has confidence in the work I do on the bench," Davis said. "I began my law career working with our public safety forces, and I have the utmost respect for what these brave men and women do every day.
"It takes a true hero to rush into the unknown in order to help someone else, and to have again earned the trust of the Professional Fire Fighters is humbling to me."
This is the fifth endorsement Davis has earned from public safety organizations; she is also endorsed by the West Virginia State Troopers' Association, the West Virginia Sheriffs' Association, the West Virginia Deputy Sheriffs' Association and the West Virginia State Fraternal Order of Police.
The Professional Fire Fighters of West Virginia was chartered in 1930 and represents more than 900 active and retired members in 21 locals throughout the state.
Davis, who has served on the Supreme Court since 1996, is running for a second full term on the court.
