PERSONNEL FILE: Pace joins Kay Casto & Chaney

CHARLESTON -- Kay Casto & Chaney has announced that Charles W. "C.W." Pace, Jr. has joined its Charleston office as an associate.

"We are very pleased and fortunate to have an attorney with C.W.'s background join us. He brings remarkable experience and insight in estate and trust law as well as commercial law, and will provide a wonderful resource to our clients," said Michael T. Chaney, a member of the law firm's management committee.

Before joining Kay Casto & Chaney, Pace worked for BB&T Wealth Management in Charleston and in Roanoke, Va. Previously, he was an associate attorney at Allen, Guthrie, McHugh & Thomas in Charleston.

In 1999, Pace received his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. In 2002, he attended the Southeastern Trust School at Campbell University in North Carolina.

Pace is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, as well as the Supreme Court of Appeals for West Virginia. He is a member of the Charleston Estate Planning Council, the WV State Bar, and the Kanawha County Bar Association.

While attending West Virginia University College of Law, Pace served as a member of the Law Review and was an issue editor.
