CHARLESTON -- Tish Chafin has received the West Virginia State Building and Construction Trades Council endorsement for the Supreme Court of Appeals.
"The WV State Building and Construction Trades Council is proud to join with so many others in supporting Tish Chafin in her campaign for the WV Supreme Court of Appeals," said Dave Efaw, Secretary-Treasurer of the Council.
The Council is an umbrella group made up of 15 types of construction craft unions representing 20,000 union construction workers in West Virginia and surrounding communities.
"I sincerely thank the State Building and Construction Trades Council for their endorsement," Chafin said. "I am so proud to have their support, along with our state's working families, business leaders and law enforcement groups for my candidacy for the Supreme Court."
Chafin also has received endorsements from the AFL-CIO, UMWA, CWA-WV, AFT-WV, UTU, South Central Labor Council, West Virginia Sheriffs' Association and the Deputy Sheriffs' Association.
