MARTINSBURG -– Jackson Kelly attorney Bill Powell was recently elected to a three-year term on the Board of Governors for the West Virginia State Bar representing District 16 (which consists of Berkeley, Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Jefferson, Mineral and Morgan counties in West Virginia).
The Board of Governors is responsible for the general administration of the affairs of the West Virginia State Bar by formulating policies to advance the organization's goals and objectives.
Powell is a member of Jackson Kelly and the manager of the firm's Martinsburg office. He is also the Assistant Leader of the Government Contracts and Investigations Practice Group. His practice focuses on the defense of civil litigation and white-collar criminal matters.
