HUNTINGTON -- Legal Assistants/Paralegals of Southern West Virginia (LAPSWV) and co-sponsor Technology-4-Attorneys have teamed up to present Law Office Management Seminar Series: Court XIII.
The seminar will be held on June 1 at the Pullman Plaza Hotel in Huntington, West Virginia.
The topics to be presented are:

* Social Media Pitfalls for Lawyers & Staff;
* Additional Metadata & Social Media Case Law Update;
* How to Lose Your Case: Avoid Drafting Metadata Related Discovery Requests;
* How to Lose Your Case: Avoid Drafting Smartphone Discovery Requests;
* More Social Media & Metadata Ethics Issues.
Kenneth O. Kreis, J.D., a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois and a former Assistant District Attorney for the 47th Judicial District of the State of Texas, will present the topics.
The seminar is being offered to paralegals/legal assistants and attorneys. The seminar qualifies for 6.0 CLE credit hours (2.1 hrs. office management/ethics) by the West Virginia State Bar, and 6.25 continuing legal assistant education credits (including 1.0 ethics) by the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
