PERSONNEL FILE: Miller named president of Energy & Mineral Law Foundation

CHARLESTON -- Timothy M. Miller has been elected president of the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation.

Miller -- who is a West Virginia University College of Law graduate, is a member of Robinson & McElwee in the Charleston office and Chair of the Litigation Department -- has more than 30 years of trial and litigation experience related to the energy and mineral industries, as well as business disputes and other complex litigation.

He is AV 5/5 rated by Martindale-Hubbell and listed among West Virginia Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America. Miller also serves as the Campaign Chairman for the United Way of Central West Virginia.

EMLF, established in 1979, has more than 1400 members representing some 30 states and 40 law schools, Canada and Brazil. The non-profit educational organization provides information on legal issues related to the energy and mineral industry through workshops, specialty programs, publications and electronic information. At the 2012 annual meeting, EMLF awarded $50,000 in law school scholarships to deserving member law schools.
