CHARLESTON -— The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle has announced that Jennifer S. Greenlief, associate in its Charleston office, was recently elected as president of the board of directors for the West Virginia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Greenlief has been a member of the board since August 2011. Her first term as board president will last until 2014, with the potential to be renewed for an additional term or terms thereafter.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists. It is also the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. More information can be found at www.komenwv.org.
Greenlief's primary area of practice at Spilman is labor and employment law. She also has experience handling a broad range of business and commercial litigation disputes and West Virginia workers' compensation matters. She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Princeton University and her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
