RIPLEY – A West Virginia bank is suing over a loan that allegedly remains unpaid by the defendant.

Premier Bank, now known as Traders Bank, filed the suit Aug. 12 in Jackson Circuit Court against Jackson County Physical Therapy Clinic, Mary Grace O'Daniel and John D. O'Daniel Jr.

The suit claims that, while the defendants have paid back a good portion of a loan agreement, executed March 15, 2004, they still owe $8,543.76.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in that amount, attorney's fees and court costs, interest in the statutory rate and other relief the court may deem appropriate.

Counsel for the plaintiff is Leah R. Chappell of Adams, Fisher & Chappell in Ripley. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Thomas C. Evans III.

Jackson Circuit Court case number 15-C-114.
