MOUNDSVILLE – A Marshall County company is being sued over its alleged failure to pay property rent.

Mountaineer Enterprises LLC filed a lawsuit on Nov. 16 in Marshall Circuit Court against Pipeline Energy Group Inc., doing business as Carl Smith Pipeline, claiming breech of lease agreement.

Mountaineer claims the company has failed to pay the monthly rent for May 1 through June 24, resulting in a debt of $10,800.

Mountaineer is seeking due rent, $20,000 for the cost of removal of trash and cleanup required to restore property to original condition, attorneys' fees, interest, and cost of this suit.
