PRINCETON – A Princeton woman is suing Hardee's claiming their wet floor caused her to fall.

Nancy Donovan filed a lawsuit on Oct. 23 in Mercer Circuit Court against Mountain Star LLC, doing business as Hardee's, citing negligence.

Donovan claims that on Dec. 2, 2014, she was a patron of the Hardee's located at 170 Meadowfield Lane, Princeton when she walked toward the drink machine and slipped and fell onto the floor, injuring her head, right hip, right elbow and right shoulder. Donovan claims there were no signs warning patrons of wet surfaces and that her injuries could and should have been avoided.

Donovan is seeking damages for any and all physical and emotional injuries, annoyance, embarrassment, and medical expense, pre-judgment interest, and any further relied the Court sees fit. The case is being heard by Circuit Judge Omar J. Aboulhosn. Donovan is represented by Michael French.
