Barbara Ray filed a suit in Jackson Circuit Court on Dec. 18 against Daily Bread Community Food Pantry and St. John’s Episcopal Church, alleging negligence leading to personal injury.

According to her complaint, Ray was volunteering at the food pantry on Dec. 18, 2013, when she fell through a faulty door opening and struck her head, which caused serious physical and mental pain over a sustained period of time.
