Cecil I. Walker Machinery Co. seeks payment of allegedly unpaid goods

FAYETTEVILLE – A West Virginia corporation based in Belle is suing over an invoice for goods delivered but allegedly not paid for.

Cecil I. Walker Machinery Co. filed the suit Dec. 15 in Fayette Circuit Court against Mountaineer Manufacturing Inc. of Smithers.

According to the complaint, the defendant owes the plaintiff $9,480 for goods the defendant ordered, the plaintiff delivered and for which the defendant never paid.

The plaintiff seeks a judgment against the defendant for the amount owed, interest at the rate of 7 percent from the date of judgment until paid in full and all court costs. It is represented by Jerred P. Roth of Burton Neil & Associates PC of West Chester, Pennsylvania and Mineral Wells. The case has been assigned to Judge John W. Hatcher Jr.
