FAYETTEVILLE – A Fayette equipment company is seeking compensation for alleged unpaid services provided to a West Virginia trucking company.

Leslie Equipment Co. filed a claim Dec. 23 in Fayette Circuit Court against Grimmett Trucking LLC and Thomas A. Grimmett, alleging a breach of contract and refusal to pay due sums.

According to the complaint, the defendant entered into a legally binding contract on March 12, 2015, to pay for services and equipment provided by Leslie Equipment Co. The plaintiff is represented by Jason S. Hammond of Bailey and Wyant PLLC in Charleston. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Paul M. Blake Jr.
