Suit claims Panthera Training Center hasn't paid debt

Debts

MOORFIELD – A lumber company is seeking payments from the Panthera Training Center in Old Fields for an alleged past due account.

Central Tie and Lumber Co. filed a lawsuit on Jan. 21 in Hardy Circuit Court against Panthera Training Center LLC and its parent company, Tenx Group LLC.

The suit alleges that the defendants  opened an account with the plaintiff to purchase services, goods and equipment on Oct.1, 2013. The suit says that Central Tie and Lumber has delivered the promised goods and services; however, the defendants have yet to pay them the amount due, which totals  $47,491.43.

In addition to the amount allegedly owed to them, the plaintiff is seeking pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees, and any other general relief as deemed just by the court. It is represented by Duke A. McDaniel of Petersburg. Judge H. Charles Carl III is presiding over the case.
