HUNTINGTON — An Alum Creek woman is suing the City of Huntington, claiming she was injured while walking along a neglected sidewalk.
Amy Wentz filed a lawsuit on Feb. 8 in Cabell Circuit Court against the City of Huntington, claiming negligence that resulted in an injury.
Wentz claims that on January 24, 2015, while walking to her car on 3rd Avenue she tripped and fell on uneven pavement. Wentz goes on to allege that her fall caused her bodily harm and that the city is responsible.
Wentz is seeking compensation in an amount greater than the minimum jurisdictional amount for the court. Wentz is represented in this case by Clinton W. Smith of Charleston, West Virginia.
