Lenore McKinney and unknown and unnamed male and female employees of the school board were also named as defendants in the suit.
McKinney, who was an employee of the board, inappropriately messaged, sexually harassed, sexually abused, molested and assaulted M.B.J., according to a complaint filed April 11 in Wyoming Circuit Court.
M.B.J., through his parent, M.J.J., claims the unknown, unnamed defendants were informed of the inappropriate “relationship” and behavior between McKinney and M.B.J., as well as the acts of McKinney.
Despite credible report, sufficient to put the unknown, unnamed defendants on notice that the conduct of McKinney toward a student was wholly inappropriate and, at best, should be closely supervised and scrutinized, the defendants failed to take any action to project M.B.J. from their agent/employee, according to the suit.
M.B.J. claims the defendants conduct was negligent.
As a direct and proximate result of Wyoming’s negligent and/or reckless acts and/or omissions, M.B.J. has suffered personal injury and damages, including permanent psychological injuries; medical/psychological bills; pain, suffering and mental anguish; loss of enjoyment of life; humiliation, embarrassment, indignity and shame; diminished earning capacity; and future lost wages, according to the suit.
M.B.J. is seeking a jury trial. He is being represented by Stephen P. New and Amanda J. Taylor of the Law Office of Stephen P. New.
