FAYETTEVILLE – A motorist is suing over injuries he alleges he suffered when another driver collided with his vehicle.
Ronnie Lee Webb filed the suit May 18 in Fayette Circuit Court against Shaun David Olds, citing driver negligence.
On Feb 4, 2015, Webb was driving his vehicle southwest on Route 25 in Fayette County, according to the suit, which says that Olds was traveling in the opposite direction when he approached a curve and didn't execute it properly, allegedly colliding with Webb's vehicle.
As a result, Webb was injured and accumulated medical expenses, lost wages and will lose future earnings, and has suffered a diminished capacity to enjoy life, the suit says.
In addition to a trial by jury, Webb seeks compensatory damages, punitive damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees and court costs. He is represented by Robert D. Cline Jr. and Brian E. Bigelow of Farmer, Cline & Campbell PLLC in Beckley.
