Plaintiff claims negligence by two defendants resulted in crash

Car accident 08

NEW CUMBERLAND – The driver of a motor vehicle is suing for damages allegedly resulting from an automobile crash.

Shawn S. Hildreth filed the suit May 27 in Hancock Circuit Court against Climatech Inc. and Timothy T. Jones, citing negligence against both defendants.

On March 28, Hildreth had stopped his vehicle on U.S. Route 22 in Robinson Township, Pennsylvania, when it was struck from behind by another vehicle operated by Jones, according to the complaint. The vehicle was owned and insured by Jones' employer and co-defendant Climatech Inc.

As a result of the accident, Hildreth suffered neck and shoulder injuries, pain and suffering, annoyance, emotional distress, lost income and diminished capacity to earn in the future.

He also has accumulated medical expenses and expects to do so into the future.

Hildreth seeks damages from both Jones and Climatech in an amount in excess of the jurisdictional limits of the court, prejudgment interest and costs, and other relief the court deems proper. He is represented by Michael Edward Nogay of Sellitti, Nogay & McCune PLLC of Weirton.
