Plaintiff claims recklessness, negligence led to crash injuries

Law money 03

WEST UNION – A Doddridge County woman is suing over injuries she received during a highway crash.

Sandra Gragg filed the suit May 27 in Doddridge Circuit Court against Agustin Zepeda Sanchez and Rockford Corporation, for which Sanchez was working at the time of the accident.

On May 31, 2014, Gragg was driving her vehicle westbound and entering a bend on Greenbrier Road when Sanchez was driving eastbound, the suit says. He also entered the bend, but allegedly crossed the center line and struck Gragg's vehicle. As a result of the collision, Gragg was severely injured, the suit alleges.

She is citing negligence and recklessness by Sanchez as alleged causes of the accident, vicarious liability by Rockford Corporation, and causation on the part of both defendants.

In addition to a jury trial, Gragg seeks compensatory damages, punitive damages, expenses and fees, and other relief the court deems proper. She is represented by Dino S. Colombo and Jon R. Godwin of Colombo Law in Morgantown.
