KEYSER – A West Virginia utility company is suing over damages to its property that allegedly occurred during a truck crash.

Potomac Edison filed the suit May 4 in Mineral Circuit Court against Rock-N-Roll Express LLC and Jeffery R. Huey, both of North Carolina, citing negligence.

On Aug. 26, 2015, Huey was allegedly involved in a motor vehicle accident in Keyser while working for RNR and operating a tractor-trailer owned by the company. As a result of Huey's alleged negligence, the suit alleges, damage in the amount of $13,107 was inflicted upon property owned by Potomac Edison.

Potomac Edison seeks judgment in its favor in the amount of $13,107, post-judgment interest, court costs and any other relief the court deems reasonable and just. It is represented by Christopher R. Moore of Martin & Seibert LC in Martinsburg.
