CHARLESTON – A woman is suing Greenbrier Emergency Physicians after she claims it is responsible for her mother’s death

Drs. Rohit Agrawal, Atul Shetty and Satyasagar Morisetty; and Greenbrier Emergency Services were also named as defendants in the suit.

Celestine Ware became a paying patient of the defendants in June 13, 2014, during her hospitalization at Weirton Medical Center, according to a complaint filed in Kanawha Circuit Court.

Dominique Christian claims the defendants were negligent and careless and deviated from the applicable standard of care of her mother during her hospitalization.

As a direct and proximate result of the defendants’ negligence, carelessness, recklessness and marked deviation from the normal standard of care, Ware was grievously injured in and about her body; was forced to endure mental and physical pain and suffering; and was injured to a disabling extent in her body, mental and emotional functions, according to the suit.

Christian claims the defendants’ actions caused her mother’s death on June 14, 2014, and caused Christian to incur funereal and burial costs, as well as great mental pain and anguish; loss of services; society; guidance; and companionship of the deceased.

Christian is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. She is being represented by William S. Druckman and Madonna C. Estep of the Law Offices of Druckman & Estep.
