WHEELING – Two Wheeling residents allege they were injured in an auto accident on Interstate 70.
Alexandra C. Christopher and Michael R. Clemens filed a complaint on Nov. 18 in Ohio Circuit Court against Christopher J. Miller and Nuverra Environmental Solutions Inc. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Sept. 20, 2015, Christopher was operating a motor vehicle in which Clemens was a passenger on I-70 when Miller negligently caused the vehicle owned by Nuverra to collide with their vehicle. As a result, plaintiffs allege they sustained injuries resulting in physical and mental pain, inconvenience, diminished enjoyment of life and earning capacity and medical expenses. The plaintiffs holds Christopher J. Miller and Nuverra Environmental Solutions Inc. responsible because Miller allegedly failed to maintain careful lookout, failed to stay in the proper lane and negligently merged over a solid white line.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants for compensatory and general damages, prejudgment and post-judgment interest, attorney's fees, costs and such other relief as the court deems proper. They are represented by James G. Bordas Jr. and Meaghan L. Tague of Bordas & Bordas PLLC in Wheeling. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Jason A. Cuomo.
