FAYETTEVILLE — A Fayetteville woman is suing roofing contractors, alleging breach of agreement and negligence.

Patricia Workman filed a complaint Sept. 29 in Fayette Circuit Court against Terry Damron and Terry's Complete Remodeling Inc., alleging they failed to perform their duties and obligations under the contract.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 25, 2015, Workman contracted the defendants to provide labor, materials and services for the installation of a metal roofing on her property at 2438 Maple Ave., Fayetteville, for a price of $5,380.

As a result of defendants' inaction and negligence, Workman has suffered damages, annoyance, inconvenience and was required to expend additional sums to repair the improper roof installation.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to properly install the metal roof and failed to provide professional roofers and laborers who are capable of completing the contract in a good and workmanlike manner.

Workman seeks trial by jury, all damages, interest, court costs and attorney fees plus all further relief the court deems just and proper. She is represented by attorney G. Todd Houck of Mullens.
