Raleigh General Hospital named in suit by woman alleging damages after tripping on curb

BECKLEY – A Beckley woman is seeking damages from Raleigh General Hospital after falling on the premises.

Linda Gay Harrah filed a complaint Oct. 23 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Raleigh General Hospital LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in Oct 22, 2015, she was at defendant's premises to pick up medical records. While walking, the suit states she tripped and fell on a hidden curb. She alleges she sustained serious and permanent injuries resulting in medical expenses, pain and suffering, annoyance, aggravation and mental anguish. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory, special and general damages, plus interest, costs of this action and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. She is represented by Kevin P. Davis in Charleston and by William P. Dean of Dean Law Offices in St. Albans. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Andrew Dimlich.
