R. T. Rogers Oil Co. claims it is owed more than $40,000 for fuel

Late 01

PRINCETON – A fuel provider alleges it is still owed for fuel it provided to a Camp Creek business on credit.

R. T. Rogers Oil Co. Inc. filed a complaint Nov. 6 in Mercer Circuit Court against C & L Country Corner Inc., Larry Profit Jr., et al. alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between July 2006 and June 2016, plaintiff provided fuel to defendants on an open account. To date, the total amount of $41,745.52 allegedly remains due and owing.

The plaintiff holds C & L Country Corner Inc., Larry Profit Jr., et al. responsible because despite demands for payments, the defendants allegedly failed and refused to pay the said amount.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants, jointly and severally, in the amount of $41,745.52, plus interest, costs and attorney's fees and any further relief as the court may deem just and proper. It is represented by James R. Sheatsley of Gorman, Sheatsley & Co. LC in Beckley. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Derek C. Swope.
