Property owners claim Subway Real Estate, Little General Store failed to pay rent

Late 04

PRINCETON – The owners of a Princeton property allege that former tenants breached the lease.

Randall L. Veneri and Terri Veneri Stephenson filed a complaint in Mercer Circuit Court against Subway Real Estate LLC, as successor in interest to Subway Restaurants Inc., and Little General Store Inc. alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs own the property that the defendants leased to operate a Subway restaurant.

The plaintiffs holds Subway Real Estate LLC and Little General Store Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay a monthly lease payment in full or at all, caused the water drains and drainage system to be damaged when they vacated the property and breached the lease.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against defendants, jointly and severally, for a sum of less than $75,000, litigation expenses and interest. They are represented by Anthony R. Veneri of Veneri Law Offices in Princeton. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Derek C. Swope.
